Agri-Mek® SC miticide/insecticide is a class 6 insecticide with the active ingredient of Abamectin. Please refer to the label and follow all warnings, precautions and instructions contained therein. This product offers exceptional mite, thrip, leaf miner and leaf hopper control on soybeans, nuts, fruit and vegetables. Agri-Mek SC can be used in tandem with Platinum 75 SG for the combined effect of Thiamethoxam and Abamectin, which is especially powerful for the control of thrips. Because of resistance problems commonly associated with many of these pests, abamectin should be rotated with other materials and must not be applied more than twice per season. Always apply these products in combination with horticultural spray oil (not a dormant oil) or a non-ionic surfactant that spreads on and/or penetrates the leaf cuticle, at a rate of 0.25% or not less than 1 gal per acre. Agri-Flex, which combines both abamectin and thiamethoxam, can be used depending on the crop, pest presence and severity of the pest population.
