Guarda

Guarda is the first EPA-registered, bactericide/fungicide with botanical thyme oil as the active ingredient. It provides protection against powdery mildew. rust, blights, leaf spots and other fungal and bacterial infections. As a botanical oil based product, it has a 0-hour REI and 0 day post harvest interval. Guarda’s mode of action is cell wall destruction, telomerase inhibition, and cell membrane damage leading to loss of cytoplasmic content and ergosterol depletion. The difference in Guarda is its HOLDit® Technology which uses the active form of thyme oil (thymol) and allows it to remain active over a longer period of time than other thyme oil based products, extending performance against plant pathogenic organisms
