• Planting Information:
  When and where to plant: Select a sunny location and sow seed when the soil has warmed. Plants prefer fertile soil. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, working in vegetable food and organic matter and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed.
  Care: Keep soil moist, weed free, and feed monthly. For large fruit pinch off all but 1 or 2 pumpkins per plant.
  Harvesting: Cut from vine, leaving 3 inches of stem when shell is hard.
  Storage: Store seed in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
