BotaniGard ES

BotaniGard® is an effective biological insecticide for whiteflies, thrips, aphids and other yield harming pests that is designed to control pests by penetrating the shell and breaking down the natural defenses from the inside out. It is ideal for use in controlled locations such as greenhouses, fields and nurseries that produce ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs and spices.

BotaniGard ES is also formulated for the control of whiteflies, aphids, thrips, psyllids, mealybugs, leafhoppers, weevils, plant bugs, borers and leaf-feeding insects. In addition, it has powerful control of grasshoppers, mormon crickets, locusts and beetles on rangeland, improved pastures, and listed food crops.

BotaniGard ES works as a contact insecticide, through the use of inactive spores directly infects the outside of the insect’s cuticle. Once the spores adhere to the host, they will germinate and produce enzymes that attack and dissolve the cuticle, allowing the product to penetrate and grow inside the insect’s body, thus killing the insect.
