Kentucky 31 97/85 Tall Fescue Seed

Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue is one of the most common old fescue cultivars and is identified by its coarse texture and light green color. It is commonly found on lawns in the south and it is recommended that it be mowed to a height of 3”. It is adapted to all soils except deep sand. Economical, low growing, sod forming perennial grass. A cool season grass that has high quality color and texture and will stand close grazing better than tall grasses. Germination average is 21 to 30 days. 5.5 to 7.5lbs per 1000sq ft for hydroseeding, 4-5.5lbs per 1000sq ft for new seeding and 2-3lbs per 1000sq ft for overseeding. (98% pure seed/85% germination)
