Storen is a corn herbicide that is branded as a "next-level solution" for corn farmers. It has the active ingredients S-Metolachlor, Mesotrione, Pyroxasulfone and Bicyclopyrone to provide dual modes of action in groups 15 and 27 for maximum residual activity.
Storen was developed in part due to farmers dissatisfaction with other herbicide products control of water hemp and Palmer amaranth. When combined with atrazine, field trials show Storen delivers 10% better control and a more than 58% increase in overall consistency of control on waterhemp and Palmer amaranth compared with other leading corn herbicides.
Storen is labeled for use from 28 days pre-plant up to V8 corn leaf stage. Storen also controls giant ragweed, common ragweed species, Russian thistle, cocklebur, barnyard grass, and foxtail species
